Exercise Rehabilitation is so important for recovery from injury

I’ve been practising Osteopathy for a decade now. In this time I have seen a big movement towards using exercise to recover from pain and injury in research studies. For that reason (and my personal experience of managing pain and injuries with exercise) I have focussed a large portion of my continuous professional development learning on exercise prescription tailor made to my patients needs.

Most recently I have invested in Rehab My Patient exercise software and I am getting very positive feedback from my patients. This is all included in the price of your treatment, as well as any exercise bands you would benefit from using.

One of the reasons I chose to move Beds Osteopathy to The Dunstable Centre was to be within an environment which allows the space and equipment to demonstrate exercises which help you to recover from injury, so you know how to perform them correctly at home or your chosen gym. The Lifestyles gym has such a comprehensive range of equipment, it truly is a great space to be able to use.

Osteopaths are considered as essential frontline medical workers. You are therefore allowed to travel to Beds Osteopathy for your appointments under the current restrictions. Gyms are unfortunately not allowed to open, but when it is safe to do so, exercise demonstration using a larger range of equipment outside of the treatment room can resume.
